Founding cohort
Home is a six month founding cohort and initiation in the merging of non-duality and animism.
Non-duality names the truth that everything is one, complete as it is, as we embody our Divinity and its Ascension, that all else but love is illusion. Animism knows the world as alive, Gaia's evolving dream that those in modern society are now returning to, inhabited with its spirits, in relationship, limited, that we are simply human. This is where we descend deeper into the body.
Most traditions ask you to walk one and set the other aside. Often because many have yet to take in account, the newly emergent evolution of the new human, just now coming into being at this time. This is a school and community for people who have sensed both are true at once, and haven't yet found a place built to hold that.
Thomas Michael holds the cosmology and inner work foundations, a new and unique spine rooted in the same initiatory ground he writes about in The Aurora Memoirs. His partner Tish Steenkamp, lineage trained in Taoist qigong and Chinese medicine, holds the foundation in qigong and elemental organ work. Wren, an herbalist working with plants and food as medicine, holds the foundation in herbs and plant allies.

The four foundations
Foundation 1: Cosmology and the Non-Dual Animist Ground
- A more unified Cosmology, bridging many traditions, lineages, a working understanding of how non-duality and animism describe one reality, not two competing ones
- A felt orientation to reality as both empty and alive, one you can return to on your own after the cohort ends
- How this plays a role in the newly evolving Human species and the creation of the “New Earth”
Foundation 2: Inner Work and Self-Alchemy
- Tools for working directly with your own fragmentation, shadow, and wounding, programming, conditioning and bringing these layers back into love and unity
- Foundation and frame works for walking the path of the wounded egos caterpillar to the plasma bodies butterfly
- Practices for integrating after intensity, so openings don't get left to metabolise alone, assisting the unity in embodying in the living world
Foundation 3: Qigong and Elemental Organ Work, held by Tish
- A foundation in Qigong rooted in elements and organs theory to assist keeping the mind, body, soul and spirit living in harmony on this path to implement into your daily life
- Working knowledge of elemental organ theory and how it shows up in your body, to sensitise yourself to the flow of these energies within and without, expanding capacity for inner and outer alchemy and overall health
Foundation 4: Herbs and Plant Allies, held by Wren
- Practical, relational knowledge of common plants and herbs, foods as medicine for everyday support, nurturing the body through this path through its phases of awakening, and integration
- Basic preparation you can do yourself: teas, tincture, simple plant medicine
- Ways to increase the thriving of your bodies own innate medicine ecosystems
Six months, twelve to fifteen people, held online with live guidance.
The cohort begins Monday, November 30th, 2026, with orientation. Weekly classes run Thursdays 90 minutes exact time TBD by Cohort, moving through the four foundations in order, six classes per foundation.
Each month also includes live group 90 minute Homecoming event and 60 minute Cohort Council, and WhatsApp Group Chat while the native chat platform gets built.
Classes take a break from December 24th through January 1st and resume January 7th, 2027. The final class is Thursday, May 27th, 2027.
Who this isn't for
We care about serving everyone well, and sometimes that means discernment rather than an open door.
If you're only able to show up half-heartedly, reading and listening without ever taking action. If you haven't yet felt the call toward full responsibility for your own life and your own creation. If you'd rather have your stories confirmed than examined. If you see the earth as something to take from endlessly. Then this isn't the right container, at least not yet. The door stays open, some people need to meet other things first, and find their way back here later.
This also isn't the right container for anyone currently in acute crisis or needing primary mental health treatment. Home is a practice space, not a clinical or crisis service. If you're in acute crisis, please look after that first.
What we don't offer
Home does not currently authorise or certify anyone to teach, initiate, or represent this work on our behalf. That may change as the school matures, but nothing about joining this cohort creates any expectation of it. This is the beginning of something, not a credentialing path, and we'd rather be honest about that now than let anyone assume otherwise.
